On Thursday, 5 Iyar 5570/1810, Reb Nachman of Breslov entered the city of Uman. This is the place where he wanted to be buried, alongside the tens of thousands of Jews who were killed al kiddush Hashem. Only a few months later his neshama left this world on the fourth day of Succos, 18 Tishrei.
